Sooo, I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while now, but I've just shrugged the thought off because I didn't think I had anything interesting to write about... So let me apologize in advance if this is a bore; however, I hope it's not and you find it somewhat interesting!! I thought a blog would be a great way to keep everyone updated on what is going on in my life since I am always so crazed with a busy schedule, as many of you may know =( (Sorry, I'm not too happy about it either).
Let's see... where to begin...
Well, last week, May 13th to be exact, ended my college experience as an undergad at STAC, except I do not feel any different! Is that normal?! But... I have decided that I will be going back to get my Masters in the Fall. So this free time is only temporary, But since this concept of free time is new to me, I find myself thinking 'what to do, what to do,' which has usually resulted in me back in my comfy bed watching the food channel with my girl Roxy (I'll talk about her in a little.) I have gone from being very productive with
Now about my babygirl Roxy! She is a mut, a mix of an Australian Sheperd and a Collie.. I'll post a pic. My mom, who has lived in VA for over 4 years now, has a dog who had 6 puppies. When I went down to visit on spring break in March is where I met these adorable pups! I fell in love instantly and knew I was going to have to take one home! I mean come on! So all week I was playing with them trying to pick out which one I would take, now this is where Roxy came into the picture. I picked up this 5 week old puppy who was waddling towards me and she fell asleep in my arms!!! That was it, I was sold. She had my heart! The 9 hour car ride home to NY was HELL, I even had second thoughts about taking her. The poor thing was so nervous, she was cooped up in a car, away from her sibling and her mama, stuck with meeee! But now its been about 2 and a half months and she has definately adjusted to her new home. She thinks she runs it over there, sleeping on pillows, not listening to her mama! But I love her and have become very attached. She is part of the family! <3
On a side note, I am moving into a new place at the end of June, not exactly sure where yet, so I will keep you posted. I am currently going on interviews for jobs in the city, which I am very excited about, so cross your fingers! And I will let you know how they go as well. And I also have an amazing boyfriend, JR, who has become a very big part of my life and Roxy's too!! hehe
That was a long post, I promise they won't all be like that, but just wanted to give you the jist. But other than that I plan on enjoying the summer with family and friends, taking Roxy to parks (I am such a suckaaa), and going on as many vacations as I can!! Until next time...
